Romeo & Juliet
Juliet lightly drummed her fingers on the banister releasing a satisfied sigh as she gazed over the crowded room. The throng of writhing bodies were dipping and grinding to the beat of the base blasting from the speakers. The party was a complete success. And why wouldn't it be? The Capulets were known for organising the best raves in Verona. Of course a little stimulant courtesy of Juliet’s drug dealer parents did encourage misguided youths to swarm to the parties. She tossed her dark hair and descended the staircase searching the expanse of bodies for his familiar face. She hoped he would come and stop playing this ridiculous game of hard to get with her. It never once occurred to her that he might not be interested in her. Nobody refused her...ever.
Juliet was lost in her thoughts when there was a disturbance to her left. She turned and with a jolt of fury realised what was happening.
"Get the hell away from me you prick!" Juliet’s cousin Rosaline frantically pushed at a young man, his arms braced on either side of her caging her against the wall.
“What’s wrong Ros? Not up for it tonight?" He spoke lazily; his speech slurred.
"Montague you moron!" came a shrill voice.
Romeo turned away from Rosaline. He found himself face to face with a glaring Juliet. He smiled devilishly as he looked her up and down lingering on the overflowing bust escaping from her mini dress. Juliet noticed.
"Dream on" she said.
"Juliet babe, nice of you to descend from your throne to grace us all with your presence. I should be grateful. Ros seems a bit frigid tonight ".
" You're disgusting and you should not be here. If my dad finds out he won't hesitate to kick your sleazy ass. I suggest you leave, now" her tone was quietly vicious.
Romeo scowled at the threat.
"Alright alright. I'm gone". He turned to walk away but not without a final word.
"I know all this hostility is cos you secretly want me. I just want to let you know I'm available".
"Bite me"
"If you insist". He smirked and staggered away from the party, out the doors and into the night.
Juliet glared after him. Her mood went from bad to worse as she realised that Paris had not turned up. She would call him later. For now she was too mad to enjoy the rest of the party so she called her driver to bring the car round front. She walked out into the crisp night to wait for him. As she stood there she startled at the sound of a zipper being pulled up, and strained her eyes to see who it was. He stepped awkwardly into the light streaming from a streetlamp. Romeo. He had obviously been relieving himself against the brick wall.
"I thought I told you to piss off" Juliet shot at him, repulsed.
"I just did" Romeo chuckled.
"Screw you"
"You sure can" He winked.
Juliet growled in frustration. "Where the hell's the car?" she whispered to herself.
"Leaving so soon princess?" Romeo called after her.
She did not dare take the bait, she just flipped him off and turned her back to him.
Romeo watched her. Juliet was such a tart he thought. But damn she was hot. Anyway he would never go there considering his parents were in feud with hers; the two major drug gangs in Verona. Each was fighting for larger territory and right now Romeo was carelessly in the Capulet's. He knew it was risky, but as usual Romeo just didn't give a shit. It was not like his parents gave a stuff anyway. They were so caught up in their money making schemes, they never even noticed when he was in the same room as them. His relationship with his parents extended only as far as late night calls making sure he had not been arrested. That would be bad for business.
"Why do you have to be such an asshole all the time?" Romeo was shocked out of his thoughts at the soft sound of her voice. He cleared his throat.
"What, like you care?" he replied. "Its not like you act like you have feelings".
"Well I do. I know its shocking, but you don't have to stomp all over them like they're nothing to you".
Romeo scoffed, "Okay... I'll remember that next time you take to verbally abusing me. I'll think, oh its okay its just cos Juliet has feelings".
"Look I know how I act, but I don't know how else to be. My parents don't really pay much attention to me so I just...oh never mind". Juliet returned to giving him the cold shoulder. She didn't feel like explaining herself.
"Well what do you know? You are of the human species after all" Romeo said, but his voice was low and thoughtful instead of mocking. Juliet looked at him and smiled sweetly.
"Well this is weird" she said.
"Too right" Romeo agreed, but they did not move away from each other. They stood staring at each other with new eyes.
“You’re a bit far from home Montague” A booming voice made them both jump.
“Well thanks for updating me on my geographical location mate” Romeo spoke towards the direction of the voice.
“Paris?” Juliet called. Paris stepped towards them but did not speak to Juliet. His eyes stayed glued to Romeo.
“You’re in no position to be insulting me Romeo”
Romeo and Juliet only had a split second to take in the sudden appearance of a gun in Paris' hand. He edged closer to Romeo.
“I’ll be doing a lot of people a favour by getting rid of your cocky ass”.
“Paris, don’t!” Juliet gasped. “He’s leaving okay?”
“No! Not okay” Paris raised the gun.
It was all over. Juliet’s breath came out in sobs as she knelt down beside Romeo, his chest streaming scarlet onto the filthy sidewalk. He was dead. Paris snickered as he turned and was swallowed by darkness. That was the last sound Juliet heard of the night.

My Final FanFic
TANIA'S RETURN
Tania steps out of the taxi and makes her way to the Clinic doors…she is back from her sunny and restful holiday with her sister Libby in Hawaii. She feels calm, and strong, and ready to deal with the mess she left behind in New Zealand. “Hi mum, I’m back" Yvonne steps out from behind the reception desk. “Tania! You look so fresh and revived! How was it, how is Libby? Have you got time for a cup of tea?” Tania explains that she just needs to see someone, then she’ll be back and Yvonne can hear all the stories, especially about Libby’s new American boyfriend!
Tania strides confidently down the hospital corridors until she arrives outside Isaac’s office. She takes a deep breath and walks in. Isaac is in a heated conversation with Chris’s new love interest Zoe. Tania apologises for interrupting and turns to exit the office. “Tania Wait! Zoe, can we finish this later?” “We’ve already finished. Good-bye Isaac.” Zoe acknowledges Tania with a gentle “hi”, and leaves. Isaac stands and walks toward Tania with a giant smile. He wraps his arms around her and goes to kiss her. “Don’t” Tania protests. “We need to talk Isaac.” He sits down, inquisitively responding “OK…” Tania begins “I’ve had a lot of time to think in Hawaii. And I think it’s best if we don’t see each other anymore. We just don’t seem to have the same views on much Isaac, namely money! And I’ve realised how much that really does bother me. It says a lot about who you truly are, and I’m sorry. I just can’t be with someone who has no respect for value, no concept of poverty or hardship.” “Tania please. We’ve..” Tania interrupts him “Don’t Isaac. I’ve made up my mind. I hope we can still be professional at work. And really, I’m sorry. I just can’t do this anymore. I’ll see you later OK?” Isaac spins his Doctor’s chair to face the window, grits his teeth as he says “Fine. Good bye.” Angry with his immaturity, Tania reacts “Perhaps Zoe can console you!” “What’s that supposed to mean?” he asks, a tone of nervousness in this voice as he spins back to face Tania. “Oh come on Isaac, I’m not stupid. You and Zoe have some sort of ‘thing’ going on and if it’s already clear to me, it won’t be long before her boyfriend Chris, YOUR COUSIN, finds out. Food for thought!” And on that note, she exits the office.
Tania lets out a sigh of relief as she closes the door to Isaac's office. She didn’t want to bring up the Zoe thing, couldn’t be bothered messing with Isaac's business anymore, but it just burst out of her. It’s over now she thinks, and opens the door to the office directly opposite Isaac's office.
“Hey you..” she utters…shy and trying to cover her blatant excitement to see this tall dark and handsome man again. She instantly remembers the feeling when he was comforting her over a patient dispute, and kissed her. “Hey. Your back!” TK rushes toward Tania to give her a welcome home hug “It’s great to see you, how are you?” “I’m really good... now..” “What’s happened?” Is Libby OK?” “Yea, no she’s fine. I just ended things with Isaac.” “Oh!” TK expresses a guilty happiness. “What brought that on?" He smiles. “Well, I had a lot of time to think in Hawaii, and most of that time was spent thinking about you. I’m wondering if maybe..” she pause
s, looks down, fiddles nervously with the tie on her handbag “perhaps I do want to risk our friendship and maybe..” Before she has time to finish her explanation TK has his body pressed right up against her. He lifts her face, and presses his lips against hers. They kiss passionately for a few moments. Then he looks at her and says “I knew that kiss meant more to you as well, and I’m so glad it did. You’re so sexy, and fun and intelligent Tania. I’ve wanted you for a long time.” They fall back into embrace and their lips meet again.“Sorry TK I know you're busy” TK’s ex-wife Sarah, a fellow Doctor, barges into the office with hasty speech. “OH MY GOD!” TK and Tania look sympathetically at Sarah arguing at the same time “Sarah, wait, it’s not what you think, Sarah, Sarah!” before they finish their pleading she is out the door. TK and Tania look worriedly at each other then burst into fits of laughter. “I feel like a naughty school kid!” claims Tania. "There’s an image I can work with” responds TK.
Back at reception, Yvonne and her co-receptionist Gerald are wondering what is up Isaac's nose as he ignores them and storms through reception with a very upset look on his face. Sarah follows him out looking just as mortified and she too ignores Yvonne and Gerald. “Heavens above!” Gerald exclaims. “What on earth is going on!” he pauses to think. “WAIT. You don’t think Isaac and Sarah are having an affair do you?” “You what?!” Tracey overhears the gossip at reception. Gerald begins “Well! You should have just seen what we saw Tracey, first Isaac comes roaring through here and then..” Yvonne begs “Gerald stop it! We don’t know anything yet.”
“I’m ready for that cuppa now Mum” Tania states, beaming as she arrives at the front desk. She is far happier than normal, and seems to have pash rash round her mouth. Everyone notices and stares wonderingly at Tania.
“What?” She grins.
Letters to Gerry

Every morning I sit. And I wait. I wait and wait knowing that you have left me on my own. I hate you for it. Like waiting for a train knowing you have already missed it, I wait for you. I wait for you knowing that I have already been forgotten to you. My mother was right. Why would you torture me with such letters, never knowing when or if there was another one!
I wait for you to release me, to let me be. I fall asleep every night waiting and hoping. Perhaps you’ll come back to me tomorrow. I stare into an abyss of faces searching for evidence of you. I see your green eyes, complete with golden harvest flecks become displaced in the fair skin of a stranger. The anxiety and expectancy fills me and with every passing person I search for your face. I can feel your cupid bow lips against my hot skin.
I shared forever kisses with you. I lay secure in your arms, I love you still and yet you do nothing to amend this unanswered emotion. Never did I know if I distracted you when you pictured me.
I want to share my moments, for you to listen to my thoughts. I want to be held tight and trust you enough when I can’t trust myself. I want to lock the contours of you onto my fingertips, the movement of your lips into mine. I don’t want to have to recall the smudgings of your eyes but see them and want to have your touch dissolve into my skin.
Your last night sleeps in my memory – it holds onto me like iron shackles – and it doesn’t leave. Unlike you. It never changes and it is terrifyingly constant. I don’t understand how you’ve left. It’s all changed and twisted where your promises are now empty and I still hold onto what they were before. Your last breath echoing in my head over and over as I see your eyes lose their blaze.
Where did you go I ask in response to your silence. Without you there is an emptiness where I had previously allowed space for you. The space is now barren, cold. It is hollow and there is no comfort in my heart.
I catch myself dreaming with only half of my soul as the dripping sky melts along with my sentiments; the disappointment and eventual rejection are etched slowly upon my eyes and later into my reality.
Where are you my darling? Mo chuisle?
And then you answer me by leaving me with sleepless nights, waiting.
11 months today
I woke up this morning and got out of my head – which was good. I didn’t want to think about work or Denise’s wedding or Sharon’s baby or John or Mom. Forgetting sounded good. And I wished hard that today would be that day that the world would sparkle for me, like it used to. You have been gone awhile, but not long enough baby. It was quiet today, the way it always starts and I discovered that in soft rain I can hear my thoughts. If I sit tranquil for long enough so that time converges into itself, I can hear the rain whisper my thoughts to you and the floating Autumn leaves shiver a secret as they crunch under my feet. It is as if everything around me knows that you are not coming back.
Dear Gerry
This place is quiet and alone. There are few traces of you here – photographs, obviously but your clothes and collected paraphernalia are all gone. Your scent isn’t here and neither are memories of you. Since the shoe art was selling so well, I have moved from the city.
I remember you demanding of me: ‘What do you want?’ I didn’t know what I truly wanted then. For now I want a house with space for the autumn leaves to fall, big trees and a tire swing – although I have yet to add that – and I wouldn’t mind you being here (I still keep your smile with me). The place has two bedrooms, our room and then a room for Denise or Mom. Its enchanting to be out of the city.
But that’s just for now. Nothing feels permanent any more.
Holly xx
This morning was cold and fresh. Although I could not feel it from my artificially heated room, I knew it was so for the mist that hung in the gully behind the house above the trickling stream and the shimmer of frost that had glued itself to the foliage of the forest.
Although I never sleep, I enjoy this time more than evenings; everything is new, it is another chance at the thousands of days I have endured. Always searching.
At the beginning of the day I feel as if I were normal, as if I were human. I live in suburbia. My husband is at work from nine to five, and I am a stay at home wife who is friends with my neighbours and perhaps a swollen belly. But I am not.
Sometimes it feels as if you are a part of my imagination. But in the end I always know where to look so as to turn the memory of you into something tangible. You are a moment where I can hold my breath for a whole day and still remain full of life, a feeling where I am intoxicated and let my reservations go yet I remain sober.
You are not gone, Gerry. You are the last of my thoughts after the sun has disappeared. I turn off the light, lay down and wander into the stars until forever, never once feeling the cold shiver upon me because you are in my thoughts. A fleeting glimpse of a spectacular moment of what was.
And I am lucky. So lucky.
I have hope. I have faith.
you.

Southern Vampire Mysteries:Life Since Bill
Life for Sookie Stackhouse was at best mundane. It had been fourty long years since Bill Compton had walked out the door on her 28 year old self. She knew then life wouldn't ever be the same and evidently she was right. Sookie looked down at her wrinkled, aging hands and placed them on the black rubber tires of her wheel chair. The sun was gone, and so was the day. Hands latched on to the supports above her bed, she used what upper body strength she had to climb into bed.
Life since Bill left had been unfair. Four months ago she was driving her embarrassingly out dated Ford Mustang home from Merlottes when she swerved to miss a figure that ran at the speed of light across the road, inches from the front bumper of her Mustang. She crashed into a tree and the dashboard of her Mustang crushed her legs. "No longer able to walk" were the words the rehabilitation nurse had said.
"Screw my life" Sookie responded.
As she lay in bed staring at the ceiling of the downstairs guest room, no longer able to go upstairs to her old room, she replays the crash over and over in her mind. She knows that the figure she saw that night had to of been Bill. Or at least some other Vampire. She replays it again and again, each time trying harder than the last to notice something different to prove it was him. But like any memory, over time it becomes faded and dusty like a vinyl printed in the 1950s. The darkness began to coat the sky out her window and still replaying that fatal night, she drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
The next morning Sookie wakes with no feeling in her legs. Surprise, Surprise. She wheels herself in front of the vanity and splashes water on her face and takes a moment to contemplate her 68 year old self. Once so beautiful she doesn't believe how cruel aging can be. But then again nothing is as cruel as the Anti-Vamperic laws that are now inforced. Giving a man (or dead man) his freedom, then taking it away is as cruel as legalizing then revoking Gay marriage or Black Civil rights. When President Richshaw announced the Anti-Vamperic Act it meant all Vampires had to yet again vanish. The alternative, death by stake through the heart. In short, it meant the end of Sookie and Bills 8 year long fairy tale romance. But that was 32 years ago. Where was he? Where did he go?
She knew of coarse that the law meant the end. Everyone in Bon Temps knew of Bill, including the local police force, so it was no shock when Bill up and left. What other choice did he have?
"Sookie..Sookie, you home?" Tara's voice bounced off the White-painted Southern cottage.
Tara, my best friend since I was born. We've had our share of fights but like any sisters when we one was in need, the other was there.
"In the bathroom"
"Howdy Sookie, shit look at you! When was the last time you ate anything? Your gonna fade right away one of these days, here come on were going down to Merlottes to get some breakfast we gotta fatten you up!"
Sookie leaned back and smiled. Tara grabbed the handles of her wheelchair and pushed her down the newly build ramp and into Tara’s pickup parked outside.
At Merlottes, the bar was filled with the same crowd. The Local Drunks, workmen and families who come in Merlottes for a drink, meal and social interaction, it being the only bar and restaurant in Bon Temps. They found a table and began looking through the menu. Sookie's mind immediately filled with every single thought in everyone’s head.
"..theres poor old Sookie...gosh she looks thin, that girl ain't never the same since that dirty vampire left..."
"..oh my I didn't ever think I'd see Miss Stackhouse out and about again.."
"..damn where did I put my wallet.."
Sookie use to wish she didn't have the gift of telepathy, but since she hadn't had any voice in her head for months she welcomed the endless, mindless gabbering of everyones mind talking to themselves.
Then, Sookie heard something she wasn't expecting.
"...I don't believe Andys gone just slumped on over his steering wheel. Although he was in his 70s, who knows why he didn't retire a decade ago..i dont believe it.."
"Tara," Sookie whispered
"Yeah Sook?"
"Is there something you’re not telling me?" Sookie looked deeply into Tara's brown eyes and found her answer.
"..fuck fuck fuck, ok Sookie lets just go back to your house and not freak out..are you listening to me?.."
"Fine" Sookie annoyed at Tara for communicating with her through her thoughts slammed her hands on the black tires of her wheelchair and spun it out from under the table and headed for the exit.
Once in the car Sookie exploded into tears. "So! When were you going to tell me Andy Belleflower had FINALLY passed away! He was the last Sheriff who knew of Bill, don't you realise what this means. Didn't you think this would be something I'd want to know!"
"Look Sook, this doesn't mean anything. It doesn't mean Bills going to come back to you" Tara spoke softly trying to calm Sookie down. The words cut through Sookie like a knife.
She looked down at her mangled legs as a tear escaped her. Looking up she moved Tara's rearview mirror toward her. She froze.
"Sookie.." Bill said, in his Southern drawl.

Fan fiction for Clash of the Titans (Medusa's Solitude)
Medusa's Solitude

Evening in the Temple of Medusa
In a dark and diverge entrance, the place was lit with broken cascades of cold sky light from caved and cracked portions of the roof. Toppled pillars and walls. Stone debris and broken columns on the ground.
Draco and Perseus walked through blindly through the mess. Perseus steps over what he believes to be a pile of dust and rubbles. A petrified corpse, grey and porous flesh and fingers curled excruciating. Everywhere there were bodies of men locked in cowering moments of pure soul-stripping horror. All the fragile statues had hollow eye sockets and crumbles easily like flake dusts. Silence in the air. A silhouette- MEDUSA...
A head of hissing hair and a woman's torso, crawling, savage, on her hands, dragging, waist-down, the slinking tail of a rattlesnake.
She lurks thru pools of shade and light, baring charcoal scale head-to-tail shedding in dry flaking tatters, hair of snakes, hissing and striking one another. Medusa hisses showing her forked tongue.
Perseus and Draco on opposite sides of the room dare not make any sound. They turn very slowly, weapons always up and ready. Medusa stealthily circles Draco. He listens to the rasping of scales on the stone.
DRACO
Perseus, I hear her!
She coils and surrounds Draco without touching him.
DRACO (continued)
She's over here. I think I've got her.
Her torso safely behind him, she lures her tail in front.
She RATTLES it, loudly.
Draco spins and slices the air towards the sound. The RATTLE
Stops suddenly. A relieved smile on Draco's face.
Draco sees just the tail before him. Startled and not thinking, he instinctively looks behind.
PERSEUS
(Sensing her strategy)
Draco don't!
Draco sees Medusa. His eyes widen and his muscles lock. His flesh scorches, shrivelling close to his bones. Draco’s body started to harden to scabrous pumice-stone. Medusa seems to get a high from the vapour of the drying ash corpse. She succumbs to a brief but euphoric shudder. She eyes Perseus, hungry.
Perseus shakes and breathes very hard, losing it. His heart pounds harder and harder, jerks at the slightest sounds and he makes sure that he holds his shield close. At first, Medusa doesn't seem to be anywhere around him.
Perseus gradually steps back. Until he bumps into a column. He jolts with fear, but he quickly steadies himself. On the column above, Medusa clings, her snake body coiled tight around the top. She slowly crawls down towards the base of the column. Closing into Perseus.
Yet Perseus insists on keeping his back flush against the column- a false security blanket. Above, Medusa reaches slowly for his blindfold with the meticulous patience of a snake. She pulls the knot out. The blindfold falls. Perseus instantly lowers his head and squeezes his eyes closed.
He slashes the air in front of him. He rakes the sword back to one side. Nothing. He sweeps the other side.
Nothing. Where is she?
Slithering sound slowly mixed with a moan, Medusa speaks
MEDUSA
Please apologize for my behaviour. (With a grin in her tone)
PERSEUS
Where are you and why should I believe you!
Yelling on the top of his lungs
PERSEUS
You have killed so many men, is this one of your tricks?
Medusa drags herself to the other side of the room on top of the toppled columns.
MEDUSA
No, I know why you are here. (Slightly pain and tear in her voice)
You are here to kill me, to slay Hades son. Kraken.
PERSEUS
I am here to slay you to help the citizen of Argos!
Perseus steps back with his sword up to his shoulder, closes his eyes and turns his back and swings his sword, slicing the thin air. Dust flying. Perseus reins in his panicked breath. He listens and thinks, he cracks his eyes and peers down into the basin of his shield. His darting eyes find a patch of polished bronze.
Above, unseen, Medusa nears. Her hair of snakes tenses and focuses on Perseus. They coil for the strike, to startle him into turning around. Medusa settles again and slowly hisses and speaks.
MEDUSA
I just wanted to be able to speak to someone like I did years ago!
To be talked to, to laugh with someone one, be touched.....
And be looked to in the eyes...
Hearing the sadness and frustration in her voice.
MEDUSA
I have been on my own (medusa sobs) for many years!
(She started screaming, crying and slithering up and down the broken columns)
Perseus angles the shield to reflect behind. No Medusa.
He tilts the shield to see above. He watches the scrap of
Scenery glides over the slash of burnished metal.
MEDUSA
What have I done so wrong to deserve this?
All this years you call me the monster!
She hisses and yells
I AM THE VICTIM! Always been and always will be. Cries
PERSEUS
Let us calm down Medusa, I have heard your story.
I cannot say that I feel your pain, but Medusa we can re write history. I will tell the events that happened here. What you really are. Just like us, everybody else. Wanting to be talked to. Companionship.
MEDUSA
I cannot trust anyone, NO ONE! But tell me this demi god. Do you keep your word to spreading my real story to the world?
As Medusa slithers down from the column and drags herself towards Perseus. She moved very close to Perseus, behind him.
MEDUSA
Don’t turn around just yet. I want to end my horrid life. I cannot take this lonely and dreary so called life of mine.
Perseus feels the cold shiver knowing she is behind him, holding his sword up towards his face with his eyes closed shut.
PERSEUS
Take my word Medusa, you alone can save hundreds and thousands of people. (Shaking) Do this, I will end your horrid life and you will die to me and for everyone else with commendation.

MEDUSA
You are as what they say, trustworthy.
Goodbye, Perseus, Demi God.. Save Argon.
Perseus shuts his eyes and wheels around to cut. A soft FTHMMP as the blade slices thru something... A fractional silence. Perseus holds his breath. His eyes dart again to the reflection to look at the shadow that still looms. He still feels her presence.
But suddenly, Medusa's head thuds and rolls on the ground. The headless reflection topples over, she is dead.
PERSEUS
I will spread your real story. Goodbye, beautiful maiden.
Perseus looks at Medusa head on the ground.
Medusa’s face was beautiful, she died with a smile.
La Fanfic Revue

The Big Bang Theory
In this fanfic the usually socially awkward Sheldon and happy-go-lucky Penny are in a relationship - a completely absurd idea in Big Bang Theory Canon. This piece was pleasant but I found myself reading to the end more to see if there was a main point rather than reading out of enjoyment. The author relies mainly on dialogue, which is acceptable considering that the original is a television show, and in my mind the exchange between the characters is feasible but not exciting. However, a lot of the dialogue is wasted on Sheldon’s scientifically superfluous vocabulary but lacks any comedy and comes off rather mediocre.
Scrubs
A short, simple fanfiction. The author really seems to understand the genre of writing of Scrubs however the piece seems to be as if it is taken from a scene within the series – either some good writing or a spot of plagiarism. Although short, I enjoyed the characterisation and that the author allows the reader to see into JD’s thoughts (as is done in the canon). The engagement of the characters between each other is done really well too. In this fanfic, JD is out grocery shopping but encounters his arch enemy – The Janitor! Written from JD’s perspective, the piece is comical but very conservative in any deviation from the series.
Mean Girls
Extremely limited and short. This fanfic is a short thought of the beginning of a story. Taylor – a non descript character in the film – was asked out by Jason in order to make Gretchen Weiners (who is one of The Plastics) jealous. It is from the view of a typical teenage girl and highlights very basically a few of the trials they have to deal with in the modern world like teen pregnancy, cliques, jealousy and the never-ending saga of boys. Well written, but doesn’t continue into a greater main point/body so one is left one a high point with no closure. Hopefully the author will continue her story!
Netherfields – in this case, New York – and everyone attends a local ball (in this case a benefit party). True to all the events that occurred at the social event, this fan fic adds in some glamour, glitter and of course gossip. A high standard of writing from the third person – and some comments from Gossip Girl herself – it is an easy-read with the genre appealing to a wide audience.
